    I believe in the shot and encourage people to get it but I don't force any of my daycare families to do so.

    I just noticed that I have an avatar. I didn't make that but thanks to whoever did.
    I agree... If you are around anyones infant or elderly parents you should do it for their sake. What may keep you in bed for a few days to a week can put them in the hospital or worse.

    often I here I got the shot and still got the stomach flu... well the flu has nothing to do with vomiting that is something different.

    I failed to get my shot last year. I am always healthy as a horse.. then I got it and crashed. I will not fail to get one again. I could not see my Mother 91 for several weeks.
    It:: will wait

      My dd hates the shot so the pediatrician gives her the nasal mist. And she always seems to get sick shortly after...usually the sniffles, nothing hideous but I swear that mist does make her get some symptoms. We never went last year for her mist at all...she was sick alot last year with colds leading to wheezing (she has not been diagnosed with asthma but she sure seems to get hit in her chest when she gets sick!) and you are not supposed to get the vaccine if you are sick. I can't decide if I should get her one this year or not. :confused: I got mine but I get the shot.
