    Interview Next Week!

I posted about terming the family who cried all day long (among other things...) Well two of the spots are already filled, and I am interviewing next week for the last spot. I am keeping fingers crossed that it all works out, because if it does I will actually be making MORE money per week - I did give the family a slight discount, but now all spots will be getting full pay. All the "new" kids have prior dc experience so I expect the usual transition issues, but not the all out aniexty I've been getting.
If it doesn't work out for Tuesday, I did get a call for a PT 6 month old. I will wait to see how Tuesday goes before calling though. I was so nervous about letting a family go, even though it was starting to affect me and the other dc kids. PTL, it worked out!happyface

      That is great news.

I always get a bit concerned when kids have prior dc experience. How old are they and why did they leave their last dc?

The dc lady is retiring, so that's how I got the two kids. That usually works to my advantage. In the past when I've had kids from a retiring/seasoned provider, the transition issues were minimal. Fingers crossed that is the case.

I've had the same scenario and it worked out great. A friend of mine does daycare and she HATES taking anyone older thank 12 months. I personally love getting them when they're 12-18 months or so.
