at least in my county you do....CA is dead BROKE..

not only bus fees, but this year I had to pay $100.00 each for my son's sience classes for lab fees. he has two science classes.

my daughter had a $50.00 fee for her ceramics class..

plus we have to pay for agenda and binder reminders..

elementary schools have a supply list that my SIL told me she spent $80 on.

Oh and the final kicker my HS kids lunch cost $5.50 a day and for that they get crap...

DITTO THIS ! We spend a lot here in California for a PUBLIC EDUCATION. I say if it's working out fine where you all live ....DON'T MOVE to Cali ... !!

Well thankfully the bus stopped today !! Let's just hope it last...He does not get on the same days, so we will see how next week pans out. Mom called the bus dept. yesterday. The only thing about calling for them to pick him back up is that they will not stop if the child (lower grades) have to cross the road...We done that once last year and they throw a big a fit.

Im charging the normal rate this week, I just didn't know how some providers done that when they had to transport. The first day, we missed the bus together..the 2nd time the bus missed us and we was standing right there !! Glad he picked dck up today..my head and ears feel like they are going to pop, so I wasn't ready to deal with it.

You put the bus companys numbe in your phone and call immediately to say the bus did not stop for the child.

Then you insist they come back and pick him up and take him to school

I would not charge for transportation but I could not have done it either. She would have had to come back ant take him if the bus would not come back

I have done this before. The bus came early and I was so mad so they had to come back and pick up. But what they will tell you is that YOUR clock is off. So my clock is now set 5 min ahead of time. I can't believe you ladies have to pay for the school bus.
