What To Do?

I was suppose to have 3 kids here today but ended up with only 1 coming. One family thought I had today off and the other mom decided to work from home. So I have 1 child, what do I do with 1 child? She's almost 4 but she likes alot of attention, normally she doesn't when there are others here to play with what can I do with her? I've already painted her fingernails, we built a fort we did a small craft, I just don't know what else to do.

Audio books
Play doh with cookie sheet and cookie cutters or let her help you make a new batch of playdoh or cornstarch clay.
Cutting practice with simple shapes or turn her loose on an old magazine or catalog
coloring book or draw her some simple black line pictures to color
Make her a little blank book she can fill up with her own pictures
Put out watercolors

If all else fails just tell her it's the part of the day where she "practices" being able to play by herself and you will let her know when that part of the day is over.

I would just tell her to find something to play with.:: I would not entertain her all day.
