    FB posts

A facebook friend of mine is a nanny, she posted "Loving that the kids woke up at 11! Time for cartoons!"

^ no wonder the kids NEVER adjust to daycare (or it takes forever)

Another friend of mine (is an actual friend and I have to bite the heck out of my tongue) is a provider, and is unlicensed but has too many kids in her care today. She charges 1/3 of what I charge for SA kids, for infants! Her own daughter has had a HORRIBLE adjustment to kindergarten this year, and I'm pretty sure it's because she lets them watch TV ALL.DAY.LONG. and is constantly on fb playing games, chatting, talking about the tv show she is watching on her laptop. Last week it was hilarious to her (and her fb friends) when she posted a pic of her younger dd playing in the tub, down to a diaper, with dry erase markers (she didn't know where she was)! All I could think of was THANK GOD SHE DIDN'T TURN THE WATER ON!

    I just deleted FB mobile.

yeah that is scary. can you imagine shelling out the money for a nanny and being okay with TV all day? very disappointed in the nanny AND the parents to be allowing this type of thing.

same thing with the other provider....although I would imagine that in her case, maybe the parents dont care as long as the fees are very cheap.

remember my post last week about having an assistant and leaving, well that provider does everything but watch kids. She spends so much time on her phone that I think its part of her accessories. She never brings the kids outside.

Its so much easier to let them run around outside, less stuff to break ::

This sounds like a lady whom I resided NEXT to. She had 14 kids once and neither licensing or CYS would do anything about it. It really made it difficult to do business.
