    Preschool Gross Motor

My dd is in college. She has to do a preschool, gross motor the theme is all about me. She needs to occupy 15 minutes. 5- 10 students. These kidlets were very uncooperative last week.
    What can you think of.

LOL that's what we're doing this week!
We're doing an obstacle course: climbing over and under things, stepping on soft pillows and hard boards, balancing on a beam... (haven't finished the whole course yet but it's pretty easy and works well with rowdy kids).

We're also doing the Hokey Pokey and If You're Happy and You Know It with all different kinds of motions (You can also change the feeling and do different motions ex. if you're mad and you know it stomp your feet)
We're also doing an exercise video called Kick To Get Fit (Ive never done this before so I don't know how well it will work)

I think if the kids were not cooperating for her last week she might be better off with a song that lets them get their energy out first like "My fingers are starting to wiggle" or "Shake your wiggles out" where the song ends with them sitting but allows them to let out some crazies first.

Does she have someone to help with "crowd control"?

We do ALOT of "Simon Says" and "Follow the Leader" in the indoors to pass the time and move our bodies.

Ok my brainstorm for her was to do the Gingerbread Man- make a board with the order of people he runs from, have the kids say in order Little old lady, little old man etc. Play a version of duck duck goose only have them say them in order with the last being the fox and they chase around. So she is going from there.
