I think you're right...she did strike a small conversation last night at pick up but this morning she walks in and I said good morning to her and she said nothing. Just Odd.

She may just be perpetually stressed or tired. When my boys were young and I was getting 6 hours of sleep per night, in one hour spurts, I would say and do things that I didn't realize were rude until it was far too late. My husband would bring home a buddy, and I wouldn't even say hi. I cringe to think of it now, but at the time, I was a walking zombie, and was just concentrating on self-preservation so much that things like manners didn't occur to me. Thankfully that only lasted a year or two .

That said, if you don't need the income, term him. You're not comfortable with the mom and some of the things she does are just plain unsafe. I wouldn't want to worry about the liability issues.

I just gave the mom until the end of this week...I feel so much better now. I was not comfortable with her and her actions and lack of manners...I think maybe some of you might be right and it's just the way she is or just exhausted...but whatever the case, I get this uncomfortable vibe. Everything that has gone down from seeing unsafe actions, dropping off without seeing me, constant late pick ups, not much response when her son won't listen...I just want to wash my hands of it...so this week will be her last week to bring her son. This job is so stressful at times...I don't like terminating, but don't like feeling stressed all day either.

I am sure that you will feel much better without the added stress of this family. I hope Mom took it well?
