Early Naptime Waking 23 Month Old Question

Naptime is 1-3 here. All of my regular kids sleep that long or longer every day, no problem. I have a part time dcg who wakes up after 1.5 hours.

How should I handle this? She is in her own room in her own crib. I have a fan running to help everyone sleep, so noise isn't an issue as far as things waking her up. Would you take her out of her crib and let her play, possibly waking up the others, or would you expect her to stay in her own crib the entire duration of naptime?

I would put her down 15 min after the rest of them, and from what it sounds like, she'll wake up 15 min before them. (The rest sleep 2 hours and she sleeps 1 1/2 right?) If she can remain quiet enough in her crib when she wakes up, I'd let her stay in it. If she cries and you're afraid the rest are going to wake up, I'd get her up. But I'd definitely put her down 15 min after them. That way you only have two 15-min blocks of time with her up instead of a 30 min block. AND, maybe by putting her down a little bit later, she'll sleep longer. Maybe she's not ready for a nap at 1:00. Now that I think about it, I might even try putting her down at 1:30 and see if she sleeps till 3:30!

      Good idea.
Or as long as she is quiet I would leave her in there until 3.

I would do the same thing. I have one that never sleeps as long so she's the last to the table for lunch and the last to be put to bed. It works out pretty well for me most days. Sometimes she gets up a little early but she's used to sitting at the table playing toys now until the other kids wake up.
