Can't Stand Food Waste!!!

My dck's are really at it today, and they messed around at lunch and after about 40 mins I said enough is enough and cleaned them up and put the to bed. They didn't eat much, so what I am thinking, is I might reserve their lunch. It is such a waste! It was all food they like, they were just screwing around. Have any of you done this? What are your thoughts?

Sounds like they need some more table time rules.

I tell the kids please choose what you want to do. Eat or go take your nap.
If I have to say it more than once they take a nap. I don't mess around with meal times

I hate meal times. Lol. Wish I could never have to do them. Lol

It is clearly a punishment and really not a good way to get kids to eat.

I've considered this as well. Wrapping up the food and putting it in the fridge and getting it back out for them to eat after they wake up instead of their snack... Sounds good to me.
