Just Paid For Former DCG's Livescan

I just paid for my 18 yo former dcg's livescan. She started with me as a 3 day old baby (unexpected adoption). She is a important part of our family, I refer to her as my eldest granddaughter.

When I had my inspection last week, the analyst suggested she get livescanned right away so she could be left alone with the kids. She just turned 18 a couple of weeks ago. She already did her CPR and first aid in May.

I must be doing something right in order to stay in touch with so many of my former kids.

I love this! Good work, although things like this don't happen because of work. They happen because you are a good, decent, loving person and these kids know it.

I just got the report back, of course she cleared.

My youngest daycare baby can now sub for me. I can leave her alone with the kids.

Even my 28 yo niece who's lived with me for 12 yrs can't be left alone with the kids. She has her DOJ clearance, but I've never paid for her to take her CPR/First Aid classes.
