I put an ad on Craigslist and on our local buy, sell, trade Facebook page. I now have a pervert texting me from another area code and a local number that my phone shows called twice at 11:30 pm last night along with a few random, odd texts.

I have a pay-as-you-go phone and can't block texts or calls, so I'm stuck with steady deleting. I took both ads down. I really need kids but not if this is the cost. Not one single legitimate call from either ad.

I have been getting calls....for school aged kids. One Mom even got nasty with me when I told her I didn't have a spot for a SA kid. She was like "Your ad says ONE FT SPOT AVAILABLE!" and I said "Yes, a full time spot. It also says under age 5." She got snippy and said "Well you could put any age kid in that spot!" I actually had to tell her that I ONLY ACCEPT SA kids when they age up AND have a younger sibling still in my care, that I don't do SA kids for summers and my program is a PREK, so your 8 yo son wouldn't be a good fit and that yes, I CAN put any age group in that spot but it's my business and I choose not to.
