Ok I'm just going to be a bit more specific here so you know what my plans look like.
Right now my themes for September look like this:
About me
My family
Pets
Meeting friends
Obviously for my age group these themes are a lot for the parents too but I can take these themes and help give opportunities for learning and sensory/art.
So far I will be sending home a family tree for the family to work on and send back. I will be having them paint their feet and hands. We will sing head shoulders knees and toes....
It's just tricky because a lot of resources are toddler-preschool. I am of course adapting ideas from those resources. We might not get to activities because needs come first (and infants have lots of needs!) but it would be nice to have plans for when we can get to them.
My lesson plan consists of
Congnitive/language skills
Social/emotional skills
Creative/sensory experiences
Fine/gross motor skills
What are your thoughts? I would love to make this program the best it can be.
