Someone just advertised in our area for doing childcare with a preschool session.

They are charging $4.00 an hour and only taking 2-3 kids. I've had parents say upon starting that 2.75 an hour is high!

Generally parents do not like it when there are only a few children either especially in a preschool. A lot of preschool is about social skills and a group of 6 seems more appropriate to me. As far as the cost, if it was quality care I would pay it.

I just had a parent leave because they wanted their child in a bigger group. Six was to small for them I guess after a full year with me they tell me this. I was very sad- I can't help if the state won't let me have more!
