Thinking of those in Texas

I just heard on the radio that the govenor of Texas is issuing a State of Emergency because of the West Nile Virus? They are going to drop repelent or something from planes to try and stop this. I heard it was around the Dallas area.

If this is true, you guys are all in my thoughts during this scary time.

It has been a huge issue around here lately.

Yes, it has been a huge debate (city by city) over whether they should start spraying or not. Some cities around here already spray every year. Others haven't had aerial spraying in decades.

Those cities who are spraying are spraying a pesticide; but it is "supposed" to be safe for wildlife & the environment. It mostly kills insects because it mimics a natural substance in chrysanthemums.
