I am feeling less and less in control of my "own" business. The county I live in just keeps adding onto the to dos. Also one of my parents just brought me an application for financial aid, as I was reading I stumbled across some fine print that gives the school auditor permission to view my financial records?!?!?!ughhh I am soo irritated I feel like im losing more control everyday!!! anyone else feeling like this??

That's why I'm happily legally unlicensed and will NOT be pursuing licensing. The max 6 kids in Ohio will do me just fine, the larger number of kids is NOT worth it to me in exchange for a bigger headache. -

That was me, too! If I had to be liscensed, I would never have done childcare in my home at all. Even though I would have been perfectly fine with following the rules, something about someone just showing up at the door of my home and expecting to look at everything in it just rubbed me wrong. I am one who has to have my house perfect if anyone is coming over. I did not need the added stress in my life, especially since our state seems to really be one that allows a good number of children in unliscensed care. I never would have wanted more than 6 anyways (actually, I didn't want more than 3 or 4
).
