    Best Decision I Ever Made!!!

If anyone remembers a couple weeks ago I asked opinions about hiring a cleaning service... Well... I DID!!! I found a fellow small business woman from Cragislist at a reasonable price and she came today for the first time!!! I had her come from 2-5p on Friday and since the weather was amazing today I kept the kids outside the whole time from 2-pick up! We had snack and diaper changes and water play and everything all outside. I am so excited to have a clean, sanitized house for the weekend!

Every dog hair is gone (for the moment!), every floor in the whole house is sanitized from steam cleaning, the banisters are slippery clean, the whole air in the house smells light and refreshing, the dust is gone, the tables are clean, and everything is just lovely!

Now the only decision is to have her come bi-weekly or weekly! Best decision I ever made to put some of the daycare money I make back into the business and my sanity!

It's been the best evening ever, and I haven't even done anything, EXACTLY the point! I just enjoyed my DS stress free and on cloud nine! I even laid on the fake wood floor and put my cheek on it, ahhh, clean! Friday evening was the best time to schedule it, now I get a clean house all weekend.

YES you can use your T/S% to deduct a portion of the bill. I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! It's $75 for a bi-weekly clean ($150/month) or a little less per week but more per month for a weekly clean (which I may decide to do!). But the way I see it, my FT kids pay $150/week so I just trade one kid's one week of pay for my 2 bi-weekly cleans, SO worth it!!!

thats great! exactly how I felt when I started having a little help come in for the daycare. it made such a big difference for me to get an assistant here. I might start a cleaning service down the road too.

I think I'm going to start doing this too, I just can't keep up and I find that I spend my whole weekend cleaning and don't get a break. Do you have to tidy up before she comes.

Countrymom, you totally should! I didn't CLEAN on Thursday or Friday because I knew she was coming to clean on Friday. It was terrific! But yes, I did pick up, especially in my bedroom (the worst room in the house since it's my ONLY private, non-daycare space). She can't clean if she can't GET to the surfaces. I ended up throwing all the junk from dresser tops into a laundry basket because I was running out of time before she came.

The feeling is ahhhmazing! I bought a Groupon for a cleaning company to come out and I used it for my birthday....A clean house is one to the best birthday gifts ever!!
As soon and my daycare starts picking up I will definitely budget it in...at least monthly at first...

                          Good for you.

Make it better and have the cleaning person come after daycare closes. That way you can claim the hours for your time space too. Check out the taxes section, im sure Tom has more info on this.
