Woodchip Problem

Anyone ever seen anything like this before? Hopefully the picture works since I'm on my phone. I've had this once just in the woodchips and now this one where there is some on the playset too.

Has it been really humid in your area? Looks like a fungi.

It has been on and off, but it was last year too. The first time I saw it I was like eww squirrel vomit

Definitley looks like fungus.

I'd remove it and then spray the area, and the playset, with bleach. It should help put a stop to it.

Is it just in isolated areas? My hubby is an arborist and he said you should be fine with just scooping out the visible areas to discard and then going on as is.
