Help me shop for a rug???

Anyone like to shop?? I am looking for a rug for my playroom - 4' x 6' would be best - it will just go in the dramatic play area. My playroom is green with dark wood (espresso) furniture.

I kind of like these:





Originally I was looking at just regular more "adult" rugs in geometrics but thought maybe these would be a little more fun without screaming bright primary kid colors.

Anyone see any others they love????

me too, do you think it would match my playroom??? Now that I'm looking at it I think the greens may be very different and may clash???

It would be going in this general area (its been changed around a bit since this pic was taken).

I love them both! If I HAD to choose, one to go in that area, I'd choose the first one. The second reminds me of a group time or meeting area carpet.

I also LOVE the first one! I am just drawn to it although they are both cute....the first one just jumps out to me.

of course not! they are from www.ecmdstore.com I have ordered from them many times in the past and never had a problem so I always go there first - rarely do I find a better price either!

I used to have one similar to the second one in my Circle Time area. I then switched to a Lakeshore rug.

I think the first one would look great for the area you posted.

I love the second one and I think I have the same cubes as you! I have two black ones and one expresso. They didn't have another black one when i got the last one but you can hardly tell except in the sun light!

I think both rugs would match wonderfully, but I love the bottom one. Might have to get that one myself!!!!

mine are all espresso. they are the closetmaid cubbies from Target. I put a stronger back on them and they are just as good as the expensive stuff!

It's funny - when I saw that first rug I thought "Target". I think Target (or Kohls?) has throw pillows that match that.

I like the 2nd one but also know how much the kids like to go around the perimeter singing their ABC's. They really can't do that with the 2nd one.

2nd one looks great for ABC games though... tough call. I have trouble making decisions.. good luck!
