I know this is going to sound really bad. I have an annoying daycare baby who is 5 mos old. He cries all day long, and it sounds like a dying animal, He naps maybe 10-20 min. Even the rare 10 min moment when he is content he is grunting. He spits up constantly, I change his clothes all day. And he poops like 5 times a day because she feeds him alot of baby food...anyone have an issue with an "annoying" baby?

Little guy I have screamed for the first 3 weeks he was here (6 months old). Then mom's friend said "do you suppose he has reflux?" mom "well, he does burp alot, and seems to swallow it...doesnt spit up".
Takes baby to doctor...
doctor says "lets try the medicine, and see what happens...
Baby stopped crying! He is now a very happy little 9 mo. I am a happy provider...mom is happy too!- Flag

wow kayla, it just seems like you really have had some tough ones lately. I dont know what to tell you. Some babies are like this no matter what you do, sometimes there is a specific issue that can be addressed, sometimes it is just a fussy high needs baby. I really feel for you though because if I remember right, you have posted about quite a few tough kiddos lately.- Flag

I have been watching a little boy since he was 6 weeks old. He has always been a screamer and still is. He is now almost 8 months old and still screams and cries. I can take a lot but when he really starts screaming I put him in his PNP and I let him cry. I can hold him, put him down, rock him and nothing works. He has been to the doctor and there is nothing wrong besides he is a screamer. I am just glad he is not mine and that I can give him back at 5pm!!
I am actually thinking of terminating him. I am just not sure how much more I can take.- Flag

OP my thought is the same as Heidi's...reflux might be a strong possibility. DS took terrible naps prior to meds, but did get better once on them. Can you elevate his head at all when he tries to nap and see if that makes any difference? Or, it could be he's just a crabby kid. If he's crying all day though, I would think there is something wrong and not just crabbiness and suggest reflux to his parents.- Flag

I'm so in your situation right now... well maybe a little different. I have a 6-month old dc-baby that if she is not being held, rocked, entertained in some manor then she screams. Well more of a whaling or a howl. She is a very large baby (22lbs and 31inches long) Mom holds her constantly. When she comes to drop her off in the morning she is here for like 20-40 minutes. She does nothing but hold her, kiss all over her and let her chew on her fingers the entire time she is here. Then she will come back at lunch for another 30-40 minutes and even if the baby is asleep she will pick her up and hold her. The other day the baby was screaming so I just put her on the floor with some toys and she fell asleep on her own. Mom came at lunch time and sat on the floor beside her and kept patting the baby on her back or rubbing her hair until she woke up. Then she cuddles her until it is time for her to leave. I understand she is a new mom but geez. I'm almost to the point of terming them because I know once the baby gets to crawling and if she bumps into something and happens to get a mark this mom is gonna freak out and I don't want the added drama of dealing with it.- Flag

reminds me of this little darling:
