I'm in Cali so my rates are substantially higher. Typical around here is $40-$50 a day. I charge $50 a day (I'm on the higher end cause I serve organic food), and $5 a day less for over two but I think I will change that soon.

I charge $140. The average for around here seems like $100-$125. I'm full right now.

I'm in MN. I'm only open M-Th. I offer 1-4 day care. I base my rate on hours used. I provide diapers/wipes and serve mostly organic food.

            The range can be as follows: Infant Drop-in $46-54/day, 3 days: $125-150, 4 days: $ 140-175. Preschool Drop-in $36-44/day, 3 days $100-130, 4 days $120-150

Basically there is a surcharge for starts earlier than 8am, and a discount for pickups between 3:30-4:30. I have my own 6 yo and 9 yo, so I appreciate smaller numbers before and after school. I also like parents to consider working their hours out together, so their child is benefiting from extra time with mom or dad, and money speaks. This way, families needing fewer hours of care are not subsidizing families who need long hours of care.

I have my rates set up hourly-this is copied right from my website:

              Newborn-2 years old
              Full-time max 50 hours per week: $250
Part Time max 30 hours per week: $225
              Drop In full day: $90

              2 years old and up
              Full-time max 50 hours per week: $200
Part Time max 30 hours per week: $180
              Drop In full day: $70

I am located on the North/West side of Chicago. I decided on hourly because it seemed like there was more of a need for it. I think I might end up changing it to daily, once I get licensed(my rates will go up at that time).
I am on the low end for child care in my area. I had a HARD time deciding my rates. The daycares just west of me (where the neighborhood gets a little rough) the prices are really low but North and ESPECIALLY East of where I am the prices shoot WAY up. There is a daycare just blocks east of where I am weekly full time(thats all they offer) is 450 a week.

                2-5 yr olds are here.
Those still in diapers/Pull-Ups can pay $0.50/day to have cloth diapers and cloth wipes supplied by me, used by me, and laundered by me for their child. It saves some of my clients a lot of money.

                $33/day for part time
                $29/day for full time

                6 part timers
                7 full timers
10 spots taken daily (I can have 12)

                    Chicago here I come! happyface

The going rate in my city for home daycares is $100-$115. My current rates for infants up to 18 months are $150/week and 18+ months are $135/week.

I provide all organic food which is the reason for the high tuition. My rates will be raising by $15 a week come January and I'm pretty in-demand in my city. Quality daycare isn't cheap and my daycare parents know that

Yeah, it's nice to have a higher pay but it's so expensive out here. We have a very small rental house and we pay 1500 a month, and we are getting n awesome deal because our landlord loves us. Most other houses around here go for 2000 and up. Add all the other higher priced things and I think it usually evens out.

Children under age 2, full time rate is $40/day paid for a weekly rate of $200. Children under age 2, part time rate is $45, for a minimum weekly rate of 3 days/$135. Children age 2-4 full time rate is $35/day paid for a weekly rate of $175. Children age 2-4 part time rate is $40, for a minimum weekly rate of 3 days/$120. Children age 5+ are taken on a case by case basis, with preference to the older siblings of children in my care. Before and/or after school, paid for a weekly rate of $75. Half days of school are an additional $5/day. Breaks and summer are $30/day paid for a weekly rate of $150.

I will have one opening in early sept when a dcg ages out. I am on the high end in my area ($15 illegal-$35 center) but serve mostly organic, use a curriculum and my parents know how awesome (and worth every .01) I am

                            I charge $50 a day, so $250 a week.
This is for a full time spot. I don't do part time.
It doesn't matter the age, a spot is a spot.
I also don't do sibling discounts.

I live in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago and here are my charges...

Infants or part-time children (Under 3 days a week)
                              $50/day (hours from 7am-5:30pm)

                              18 months + & Full time children
                              $45/day

Before & After school - Kindergarten (on & off bus, before & after school)
                              $35/day

I called around to centers, and home daycares in my area and this is competitive. I serve breakfast, lunch & afternoon snack.

I charge $140 a week regardless of age. No sib discounts. CCRR just sent out the county averages and I think I am about right for preschool age, but on the lower side for infant/toddler.
