Ok now I feel terrible. I used to send DS to daycare in overalls all the time. They're so dang cute! I haven't had a dck show up in overalls yet but I can see them being a major pita if still in diapers and especially if potty training. On behalf of clueless parents everywhere, sorry!

Not a fan of overalls either. One dcb comes in them sometimes, but they have the buttons on the bottom. Also, I am not a fan of rompers. My sister bought some for dd when she was 18months. They were huge pain, especially since she was in a diaper. A dcg had one yesterday. It was a pain to get it back on after she pottied.

I HATE onsies after 12months. When my 19month dcb comes with a onsie, I want to scream. I only put dd in shirts after 12months. My poor dd though, her daddy never wanted to button her onsies so they were always riding up on her tummy. He did hear about that from his mom a time or two.

Skinny jeans. I'd like 5 minutes with the person who gave approval to make skinny jeans in infant and toddler sizes. They don't go over diapers without a major struggle and they look silly with skin tight pants and that big puffy diaper butt. They destroy any hope of potty training and once they are trained, it just makes it hard for the kids.

I love onesies because I hate to see a baby's belly sticking out. I spend half my time pulling down t-shirts to cover bellies and backs. But that's my own personal opinion.

I don't have an opinion on shoes as long as they stay on when they walk or run. I may develop one this winter when we actually wear shoes more.

Oh boy, this is a pet peeve subject for me! But here goes!

I HATE skinny jeans for babies!!! I will probably ban them with the next infant I take on (don't have any right now). They are ridiculous and so difficult to get on over diapers.

I HATE overalls too! I, too, used to be the mom who'd send her child to daycare in them, but never while they were potty training! That's just a parent not thinking at all.

I also dislike flip flops; but I'm on the fence with them. For playgrounds, they are just unsafe. However, they are easy to get on and off. I used to have a DCM who sent her kids in flip flops in the winter, in the snow. That brings me to my TRUE pet peeve...

I HATE when parents send their children in clothes that are completely inappropriate for the season. I have had this time and time again. In winter, they come with no jacket. Or in summer, they come in long pants and a long sleeve shirt. Or shoes that are WAY too small. I could go on & on. I have slowly accumulated some of my own back up clothes & shoes & I almost have everything/every size I need. But it still just really bothers me!!
