    Field Trip Cost?

So I have 2 school age for the summer and we take field trips.

I'm a big time couponer and find coupons all the time for places that I go.

How would you handle coupons for places that you visit? Would you pass the savings on to the parents?

Say you have a coupon for like $2 off the place?

The parent pays me very little the way it is. She doesn't pay me for gas on trips or anything like that.

I've been back and forth on this issue with myself.

    I remember reading this before:

In fact, summers was where my former center WOULD make the most money because even though a field trip would cost say $1.50 (swimming)...we would charge 3.00. This would include gas, wear and tear, etc for the summer. However it will also include the fact that we didn't charge a supply fee where other centers in the area do.

Use your best judgement and good luck!
So this is what I'm thinking I need to do.

LOL! Thanks! Well I figure, if I'm doing the work to find the deals...plus paying to for the gas to get there. Then I should make the extra.

I would charge the admission price and if you had a coupon not pass it on to the parents. It's like using coupons to buy your food. I bet you don't deduct the price from your DC food and drinks when you use coupons at the grocery store to pass the savings on to your clients so I see trips in the same light. The $2 you may save can go towards gas and wear and tear.
