    I agree with all the PP ideas and would add that when worse comes to worst and I'm out of tricks, games, and patience, I tell the kids it's time to clean up and I'm going to help them so I take their hand in my own and we pick up and put back each item until it's done. They don't like this very much and get the idea.

      as soon as able. The tiniest of tiny can help out by doing simple little things. Start them helping early- Kids love to help and feel wanted-
