I wondered if any lived outside of town and if their daycare was successful? I ran a very sucessful home daycare in our previous home, I closed last year as we were in the process of selling our home and purchasing a new home. Our new home has a great set up for childcare, much better than our previous home and we now have a large yard and live on over an acre of land, the down side is we now live about a mile outside city limits, I an worried how this might affect my chances of running another successful childcare.

I am trying to start my daycare and live ten miles out of town!! I think one mile isn't bad at all! I am def struggling ..but trying to stay positive and pray for some family's.

I'm in the country & feel I am pretty successful, but I am right next to a school. So that TOTALLY helps

2 miles out of a very small town here. It's a struggle, but I have benefits that some people like. There was just a similar thread a couple of days ago. Maybe you could find it for more info.Comment
