Putting Off Getting Licensed

So I hear that our licensing lady is horrible!! I mean really horrible. I have talked to a few of the licensed providers here and most of them loathe her.

One of the ladies said that she had to call our MLA to get her off her back and approved. She was even so picky about how her living room furniture was arranged!

Another provider (Lori) said it would probably take me a year to get licensed because of her pickiness. But, Lori said she do a walk through of my house to give me pointers to keep me in compliance.

Another friend, who is licensed, went through a year of pure hell dealing with this lady. My husband went to help her with her furnace clearance issue.

A few other people said they gave up and now only care for a couple of kids 'licensed not required'.

I'm so intimidated right now. But, I will do it.... just have to stop procrastinating.

Do they move around licensing people in your state?
Here they move them around all of the time to avoid any friendships forming.
Maybe you can wait a while, until she is gone.

Can you work as legal unlicensed while you go through the process?

If so, just wait until you are at your legal capacity for unlicensed and start the process. As long as you know it will be a long process and can expect the worst it won't be that bad. Just take it one problem at a time.
