Yup! I have both ages and we do field trips weekly.

Yes. My current ages are 8 mos, 10 mos, 2 1/2 yrs, 4 yrs, 5 yrs, 6 1/2 yrs, and 9 yrs. My two youngest don't care for the weekly movies, they don't like to sit still, but they go everywhere the others do.

Most of our field trips are within an hour's drive. Going to the LA Zoo takes a bit longer. Sea World and Legoland are close to 2 hours.

Next Monday we are going whale watching. It's late in the season and probably won't see any, but the price was right. The dock is about an hour's drive from here, but then it's a two hour boat ride.

I always give the parents a week's notice on long trips. Closer trips, I may tell them that day.

No, Davey's Locker in Newport. But we will be going to the Aquarium next Friday night.

Yup. My youngest is 5 months, and goes all the way up to 10 years old.

I do sometimes arrange different trips for different age groups, and sometimes ask for parent volunteers too. It all depends on what we're doing.
