    Policy Wording

I am going writing out my Parent Handbook right now. This is what I have in my Parent Handbook regarding my rates:

    Rates are as follows:

$90/week for before and after school care (Grade 1- 12 years of age)
    $115/week for part time care.
    $165/week for full time care

Full time applies to care given 4-5 days a week.

My part time rate is for 1-3 days a week.

If your child(ren) will attend less than 3 days a week and you do not wish to pay my full part time rate, you will be able to pay my drop-in rate of $45/day. Please note that my drop-ins need to give me their schedule a week in advance and their days will be subject to availability (drop-ins do not have a secure spot in my dayhome).
I need advice specifically for the last part about children who attend less than 3 days a week. I feel the wording is off.

How else can I word my last sentence and still state my policy regarding this (if you pay a drop in rate, you do not have have a secure spot in my dayhome. You want a spot, you pay for the spot)?

Do not give them the option of what is charged. It will be $115 a week regardless if the child attends or not.

I wouldn't even put that paragraph in, that is what you charge and go with it.

We only get one shot at this!!

Is that the going rate in your area?

The whole thing seemed kind of wordy to me.

        ----------------------
        Rates:

        $90/week: before and/or after school
        $115/week: part time (1-3 days/week)
        $165/week: full time (4-5 days/week)
$45/day: drop in (subject to availability, weekly schedule not guaranteed)

        ---------------------
Most people looking for daycare know what drop in care is. If they are unclear they will ask.

I'm in Canada and my prices are pretty comparative to the rates in my area. If you take the average rates in my area, my rates are $3/day higher than the average. But I offer some things that none of the other dayhomes in my area offer (that I've seen anyway). Why? Do my rates seem high or low to you?

Thanks, I will edit the last paragraph out and keep it simple.
