Need advice on how to help this little one

He is 3 years old and just got back this week from a week long vacation. Since his return when he is misbehaving and I redirect him him to an activity away from the group or to sit next to me and calm down. He screams like you are going to hurt him and runs off. If you catch him ( which I have had to when we were outside) he starts swinging and is hysterical.

To make it worse CPS is looking into an injury on his little brother. I really like mom and I hadn't seen any red flags till now. Would you let the CPS worker who came out to see the kids at your house know about this or do you just let it go and chalk it up to extra stress from an upcoming move and returning to a normal schedule?

I would be honest in any question asked even if it is "have you noticed anything different with the children recently?" Its not up to you to decide what is and is not note-worthy. Just tell the facts and let the authorities decide the next step.

he just came back from vacation, urgh! it takes you about a week just to get them back onto your schedual. If you haven't noticed any red flags then just answer truthfully. Cps have to investigate any calls, I've been there, and it was a bogus call on me.
