Do You Have Any Other Certifications?

I hope this is the right spot..

I was wondering if anyone else, other than running a daycare, has accompanying certifications or diplomas. Early childcare, nutritionist, teacher.. ect ect.

    I have a B.Ed and a B.A. with a major in Prehistoric Archaeology .

The archaeology didn't pan out so well (altho I wish it had!), but the B.Ed is coming in handy!

I attended college and got an ESL Early Childhood-6th Grade BA. Then, upon graduating there was a hiring freeze. So, I got a job elsewhere (special needs attendant) and then decided to open this business.

        B.A. graphic design
All through high school, college and after college I was a babysitter and a nanny. Once my own kids came along this was naturally the next step and something I always wanted to do.
I had a couple of graphic design jobs. The work environment is very stressful. (LOL, like childcare isnt? But its a different kind of stress).
I use my art skills for crafts and my graphic design to do all of my own marketing materials. So its very very useful, but I wish I had early childhood b.a. too....

I am certified as a PCA and working on a CNA certification right now. I am very slowly completing a Bachelors in Business along the way.

I have a passion for nutrition but its not offered at the college here and I don't do well with online format. Someday when my children are old and grown

I have a BS in Home Economics with an elementary ed endorsement. While I loved early childhood, I made the decision way back then (early 70's) to do the el ed endorsement instead of kindergarten or early childhood for financial reasons. Kindergartens weren't offered by public schools and I assumed that jobs would be hard to find. I had worked in a day care center and knew that they were grossly underpaid. If I had it to do over again, I would go kindy and ece.

B.A In Early Childhood Development and Education.

And I still have to take "Child Development 101" to get licensed. My degree doesn't count because I graduated more than 6 months ago! ::eyeroll:: I feel like saying, "eff that! I can TEACH that friggin' course! With my eyes shut! And no preparation! JUST WATCH ME!"
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

Lol! I have a BA in anthropology as well, specialized in historical archaeology! My archaeology career didn't go well either! But it DID allow me to get my Director Credential for my center!
