    Eek!

    I have my very first interview with a family tomorrowhappyface I just finished my weekly toy/house scrubbing. So now I have time to freak out and get super nervous
    What are some things you guys ask to get to know the family and baby (6months old)?
    A Few things I've thought of: (phrased politely)
    * Parenting style
    * Sleep habits/nap schedule
    * First time in care? if no, how did baby respond to caregivers other then parents
    * Eating schedule/on demand/ baby food yet?
    * What physical milestones has baby reached?

    Then the ones about wanting to apply for subsidy, food program, how many hours of care/days needed, tell me about yourself...

    Anthing important I'm missing?:confused:

    Ask how often the baby is held and if he's allowed to cry a little before his needs are met. Word it differently though. And ask if he's high needs. Google dr sears high needs and ask if he has the traits lusted in a round about way so the parents don't think you are asking if he's a "bad" baby.

    If I could redo my interview with the screamer that's what I would of done. It would of saved me a ton of stress and anguish.
