    Ugh Filling Openings

Wish me luck, I just responded to an email regarding child care.

The DCP knows me (not "friends") and has 2 kids (newborn & preschooler) and it will be a little crazy with hours until the beginning of November. I am not totally sure how it would fit in with my family, but have a positive outlook.

So I emailed her back gave her all of my info & the link to my webpage.

I'm a nervous wreck right now!! LOL I really feel like she will look at the rates for 2 kids plus I charge extra for 2nd shift and say no way. Although I am pretty much the norm for my area. I don't give a sibling discount anymore. I just can't afford it.

Hopefully she will say sounds good and want to meet. But let me get on my soapbox: why is it that I can charge 20-40 less then a local center and its always too much and nobody ever complains about paying for a center and they are always full ok off my soapbox now, vent over

I will keep you updated on this DCP response

I dread having 4/6 openings to fill.............

I so get what your saying about centers. No one ever seems to bat an eye at price, the contract expectations, etc. You could have the same one for in home and boy the uproar it would cause!::::
