Help he's a new dcb and he's been crying for the past 30 minutes what can I do?

Sounds like my new DCG. She is so scared and teary all day. Walks to the door and waves bye bye. When we go outside she stands waiting for daddy. Not much I do makes her happy and she is not comfortable enough to play yet. I showed her my fishy earlier which calmed her down. She is laying down now hopefully going to nap since shes up so early in the morning.
