    Monday...Blech

    Is it Monday again already?

Yep it must be because my dcks are T-I-R-E-D today. The 9.5 mo old often ends up sleeping at least half the day on Mondays (I suspect he doesn't get many naps on the weekends) and then today, half an hour after arrival the 3 year old announced, "Silver? I'm tired..." as she rubbed her eyes. I suggested that she go lay down and she took me up on it! She's asleep right now. Going to let her snooze for an hour or so and then get her up, although I'm tempted to just let her sleep herself out.

DD is exhausted and sleeping in, DS is teething *and* is a little bit sick, I'm exhausted...can it be Friday again, please?!
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

I hate Mondays. Dcb has been screaming since six. He's hoarse and hacking and has bad smelling diarrhea. He gave me an upper respiratory infection so I'm not up to par. I'm all around angry that I even have to look at his sick, beet red, screaming face. He's breastfeeding and I assume thats all that will calm him. Sorry! Not a service I offer! I've had a cold every month for three months in a row. I'm so done!

I sent him home last week. They said the dr said he had allergies. No doctors note and mom let it slip that they pulled her 16 yo sister out of GED class to watch him that day. If I send him home they'll just keep sending him back. I'm terminating today with 2 weeks notice.

Good for you! I put up with similar crap for WAAAAY too long with a diarrhea dcb and constant illness. The parents kept bringing him back every other day even though he was still sick. Today was my first day without him, after a horrid last 2 weeks, in which the parents were dreadful to me. Today I woke up and was SO happy he was not here.

I will warn you, however, that you may want to term immediately, or have an immediate term clause in your 2 week notice. I did not, and they brought him sick here every day during the last 2 weeks, even though I kept sending him home. I was afraid to violate my 2 week contract so I kept accepting him into care and sending him home as soon as he displayed any of the signs on my illness policy. (I have since changed my whole contract).

They've paid me for a month and I can't refund their money. I'm praying to get through this. He's now screamed for most of the day. I'm shaking from stress.

I'm letting dcg nap an extra hour. The poor thing has been miserable all day long. Slept for an hour this morning, woke up so cranky I almost sent her back to bed, and barely made it through lunch. Seriously, if she's this tired again tomorrow I'm going to consider sending her home!

PootmcGoot, could you consider giving them a term notice for the end of the month? So, at the end of this week you would be notifying them that as of June 30th, the agreement is terminated because it's not working out?
