What Were Your First 5 Kids Like?

My first 5 kids were also sooooo long ago that I barely remember what they were like.

I do remember though that ALL 5 of my first kids/families left their kids as early as possible (one was 5 a.m.) and picked up the latest they could (6 p.m.).

So more than anything I remember putting in super loooong hours but I dont recall any of my kids ever really being bad or tough. I am pretty sure they were enjoyable kids and I had no issues with them or their parents.

I no longer am willing to work longer than 10 hours max per day so long hours aren't a big deal anymore.

Overall, the only issues I ever really had was late payments (which was solved by going pre-pay only) and getting paid by the state's subsidy program but they have since changed that too so it is no longer the trouble it once was.

I have had a few bad apples over the years but they have been pretty spread out so that leaves me to believe it has nothing to do with me or my program but more to do with bad parenting, which happens ALL the time.

Some of my first five kids were from very neglectful homes.

#1. 3 year old girl with visibly rotting teeth never got a bath at home, same with baby brother but both kids were very sweet and I just bathed them every day.

#2. 4 year old girl..very afraid of father, no mother (abandoned)
I loved her so much and took care of her for many years, taught her about puberty when the time came (nobody else did and she thought she was dying) and just loved her like a daughter....she ended up in foster care and I lost contact

#3. o.k. family o.k. kids...just treated me like I didn't deserve to be payed

#4.and # 5 cute adorable baby and older sister loved me and I loved them

I learned a lot from my first 5 kids because I am not just here to care for the physical needs of the kids but to teach them and sometimes the parents about nutrition, safety,and social skills...::::
