We had this dody family that would bring the little girl in by one parent, screaming and kicking. We'd get her calm and the parent would walk out. Immediately the other parent would walk in talking about "oh, I heard her crying" .

The last time they did it I told the mom "You know, we had JUST calmed her down "

Every parent annoys me at some point. I'm sure I annoy every parent at some point, too. Who annoys me and why usually depends on my own mood. I try to keep that in mind whenever possible.
Doing what I love and loving what I do.

Yes I have a parent who walks in 1/2 late and then says "oh she was hoping for pancakes this morning". Well maybe if she would have been on time DCG might have had the choice. But not today. Mom thinks this 8 year old should get to do and get whatever she wants.
Can't wait to see how this DCG acts in a few more years.

OMG! I would say, "We did have pancakes! About 25 minutes ago. They were delicious!"[/QUOTE]

DANG!!!!! I wish I would have thought of that. I would have loved saying that.::::::::::::::

I had a parent in the past that was very odd. Whenever he would pick up, I would tell him about his child's day, and then he would just stand there. And stand there some more. Holding the child, and looking at me. I had no idea what in the world he could want from me. So I would stand there for a minute, and then say 'Ok! See you tomorrow!' while opening the door. ::

Yes, I have a family that drops off their daughter and she is the last to pick her up. They know that all the other children are picked up around 5:00 PM and they pick her up at 5:30 PM or later. The Dad is a teacher and out of school now and the mother is a nurse that has a crazy schedule. I can tell that their daughter gets on their nerves because she is a talker for only being three-years-old. It's amazing to see how some parents just don't care to hangout with their children. But I can't complain since they are paying me to watch her.. I guess.

Oh yeah and they keep telling me that they are trying to get her potty trained so that she can start a Christian Preschool. I want to say, " okay she is potty trained so when does that start?"
