    does Age Make a Difference

lately alot of ads that have been written post the providers age. So my friend (another provider and back up) were talking about "why do they post their age" neither of us ever do. So do you ladies think that by posting the providers age (and age of their children, single mom or grandmother) makes a difference when parents choose a daycare.

Oh, it definitely makes a big diffrence to some people. Some people might prefer an older provider, thinking this means they have more experience (which we all know is not always true). Some people might prefer a younger provider, thinking this means they have more energy (which we also know is not always true).

Some people might not want an older provider thinking the older they are the worse their health may be, the sooner they plan on quitting DC or the harder is for them to keep up with the kids. Some people might not want a younger provider thinking she is too immature or not experienced enough.

I personally don't think age matters much when it comes to anything these days, you just cannot make reasonable decisions based soley on someone's age - but I do think many people still try to
