Construction and New Clients

So there's a bunch of construction going on near me--some in my neighborhood (they've torn up a bunch of the sidewalks) and then a bunch on the main road just outside my neighborhood. I hadn't thought about the construction being a hindrance to filling my open spot, but the potential clients I met with today mentioned the construction as one of the reasons they didn't think it would work (the other being location in general).

I'm wondering if anyone else has ever had roadwork (long-term roadwork) be a problem in filling spots.

If I were looking for a daycare, that would not phase me in the least. How odd.
