    I.d.k w.t.d PLEASE HELP!!

    Hi, DCP

While dropping off their child on Wed. After I ask for more diapers….I was hit with “This will be his last week.” I said, Oh WOW in shock.!!
I ask, was there anything I could improve?! I will take any constructive cristism!
“No, it’s not you he's too clingy, he only goes to you and me, he does’nt even go to his mom when I'm around, family members or anything.” He needs to be around more kids.

All this week the mom was very nice she would speak b/f leaving and arriving. she's never done that in the past. the last day of him being here she gave me a lot of his belongings, she handwritten me a card along with a gift card that read "Thanks for bearing with her being late, the good/ bad. Lastly she's happy that he would be back for drop in care.

She explained to me she would need me in the summer for her daughter b/c her husband would be taking her older sibling away out of town for a tournament and days that the school is closed on the holidays for her and the toddler.

The thing is I don’t give drop in care but I’m always letting her get over with small things b/c I’ve been having him for so long…. The last day I gave her some business cards. and told her I wouldn’t won’t to loose the relationship with her but really I did! I was waiting to fill up again b/f I enfrorced my rules on the dcp’s and soon to term them.

    A little history of mom:

    * is always late- use to call but not anymore.
*She once paid on time for first month after that start paying on wed then changed to Friday's. Would say she left the check book at home or pay on Thursday’s one day I brought it to her attention why she was about to leave and she said, “oh don’t’ worry you going get paid.” When she return with the check I told her, “I would never think she’ll not pay. I thought maybe your husband forgot.” She left with a nasty smile.
    * She slams the door...or when signing out she slams the pen down. when she's upset. gives other daycare parents nasty looks talk about them. I can go on........
*She has aked me to pick up her child for school b/c other daycare was close which she called me the night before to do so.
*Only complain when she knew she was tight on money
Ex: he's clothes are kinda dirty, How long does he sleep, is he learning anything? (at 11 months he was’nt talking). Ect…

    I could go on........

What should I do? I’ve been having him since he was 3 months now he’s 18 months.

I don't think I understand either. "I'm sorry, but we're full!" seems like a great response if she's asking for care again in the near/distant future.

That's exactly what I told her I'm full! For the summer. Which I really was. She ask me to keep her 7 yr old daughter. Intermittently for the summer and drop in care throughout the school year since she would be with the eldest daughter most of the time. I told her I was full. I agreed to watch her son on one occasion. She ask me on another but I never agreed to the second. The night before needing care she rung my phone 10-15 times. I called her back the next morning the day that she needed care. She return my call once she got out I'm assuming. I didn't answer. b/c I went to run some errands. Last week her husband and herself recommended me to a couple. I spoke with the couple over the phone, I told them I was full as well. We had an interview.
