    Happy/Sad

    I am really happy. My noon interview showed up and signed up the most precious baby girl. She's the friend of a former daycare family. She's aware of my routines and is ok with them.

    The sad thing is, I have to let my current PT baby go. I really hate to because I have fallen in love with her. One day a week just doesn't pay the bills, though.

    One bonus, she will be gone the same week I am for vacation in two weeks and is willing to pay regardless.

    I have another appt tomorrow for a 2 1/2 yr old. I really hope I get her.

      Yes, that is a sad and yet happy situation to be in.

      Congrats on the new enrollee though!!

      What I do in these situations is offer the child space when available so I can still stay in contact with them and they feel like I am not completely bailing on them....kwim?
