Do you have or are you organizing an outdoors program for the summer? I have been trying soooo very hard, but it is not going well.
The kids just don't seem able to adjust. The free-play times are nothing but an hour of constantly punishing. I don't like it. I thought they'd all be thrilled to be outside, but it seems that they are used to running amok outside and it is much harder to discipline.
Anyone else experience these problems? They're fine if we're taking a hike or doing an activity, but even field trips are becoming nightmares. For some reason they just can't handle being outside - or maybe there's too much free play?
Anyone have ideas and/or suggestions? I'm at a loss.
Oh, and what do you do for mosquito control??
