    Advice & Comments Please

ok so this is going into my rate sheet, i'm wondering if this will confuse my parents, please let me know how this sounds or what i can change! thanks

"The families for part time care must be either the morning session (anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.), or the afternoon session (anytime between 12:30-5:30 p.m.), or for a full-day of 5 hrs or more which is considered full time. Care spanning any part of the morning and afternoon sessions, even if it is only for one to two hours, is considered a full day. If child is absent or sick payment still needs to be made. There are no make-up days, for example, if child misses a day that day is considered missed and cannot be made up for another off scheduled day. The families must adhere to the drop off and pick up times on their contract . If families drop off early they will be billed the drop in rate for each day they come in early. Also, early pick-ups and early drop offs are still paid as “drop-in rate” for example, if drop off time is earlier than the contracted hours and parent wants to pick up early that is fine but that day still will be paid as “drop in rate.”

There were a few things that I would have explained a little different and a few things that I thought important that weren’t in there before. I wasn’t exactly clear on some things either. Are part-time families able to choose both the morning session and the evening session in the same day for a full day? I assumed that this was ok as long as they paid for it. Also what is full time? I removed the bolded part of "Care spanning any part of the morning and afternoon sessions, even if it is only for one to two hours, is considered a full day" because then a client can argue that they don't have to pay extra if they only overlap 1-59 minutes past 12:30pm.

Part-time families much choose from the morning session (7:30am-12:30pm), the afternoon session (12:30pm-5:30pm) or both for a full-day and will be billed accordingly. Care needed that overlaps from the morning session into the afternoon session is considered a full day.

Both Full and Part-time clients must have a contracted schedule of care which they must adhere to. Tuition is based upon enrollment not attendance and is paid weekly. Days missed for any reason will not be deducted from the rate and cannot be “made-up” by switching for other days. Additional hours and days needed that goes beyond a clients contracted schedule will be billed in addition to their current weekly rate and will be charged at the current drop-in rate. Late arrivals do not allow for late pick-ups.
