Thank You Gift For A Parent?

So I have a parent that's gone above and beyond the past couple days. I was sick and had to close, and was hesitating taking an extra day to recoupe. She knew that it was because of a single mom without back up care, so she offered to take her for the day. Today I'm open again and she took off work to come on a field trip with me (she had already agreed to, but that was before taking 2 days off prior for me being sick) and she was SUCH a help. I couldn't have done it without her.

I'd like to give her something small. I was thinking maybe have the kids make her a card and give her flowers tomorrow. What do you think?
