Got a call this week from a parent with twins, she was daycare shopping and calling several places so I don't know if I will hear back from her but I do know she is going to need to start work in the next week so if I don't hear somethign soon, I know she went elsewhere.
Got another call this am about a 2 yr old whose parent wants to do the visit tonight and she seemed pretty sure she would want the child to start tomorrow, when we started talking about setting up a visit she wanted to do it tonight due to needing him to start tomorrow....that makes me wonder where the child was previously, was the dck kicked from the current setting, was it a staying with family situation that necessitated them finding other care (that doesn't usually mean finding immedicate care though), or what the situation is that she needs care that soon because from what I can tell dcm has been working already and so I guess we will get more into that tonight because she wanted to set up the visit after a school thing I have later for my son which was fine by me.
I am curious what she is needing care so quick for, but at same time as long as it's not a major behavior thing It shouldn't be an issue. I have had many calls of people daycare shopping and yet no bites in awhile. It has been a couple months since I even have done a home visit, so I am crossing my
fingers on this one that I do get the dck as I still only have 2 ft and one pt ( I will lose the pt in the fall when she goes to prek). Financially having another ft will be a blessing, so send any positive thoughts and prayers my way for tonight!
