I stopped watching a 2.5 year old one year ago. I had her off the paci completely and day trained, including naps and keep in mind, this was ONE full year ago. Now the family is back in our life because they have started attending the same church. The daycare situation ended amicably because mom decided to stay home herself and they also added to their family. Anyway, the 2.5 year old is now 3.5 and back on the paci (I'm not going to lie, she looks ridiculous) and wearing pull ups at times during the day. All that hard work down the drain....whatever. I am not surprised but the mom knew full well what her daughter was capable of but I guess they are too lazy to keep up with the routine.
