I specifically asked my licensor this question when I started out almost a year ago. I was told:

If you have a visitor he/she CAN NOT LEAVE their children alone with you during daycare hours. If he/she is supervising his/her own children its fine.

However, its best to check with your licensor. Good luck!!

Every county is different and even within each county, analysts are not always consistent in what is okay or not.

I would contact the manager of your licensing office and ask them to give you something in writing concerning this. I have experienced too many discrepancies over the years and don't take a verbal okay for anything anymore. CA is notorious for having no black and white rules on a variety of issues and I don't trust merely calling the analyst on call for the day!
