    Sibling Discount

I'm trying to figure out if I should be offering a sibling discount. Is this something that most of you offer? How much of a discount do you give? Is there a benefit to the provider to give a discount? Any ideas on this would be helpful.

I still give a sibling disc. I normally charge $140.00 for infants til totally potty trained then $130.00 which is going to change to $140.00 across the board soon. I still give a sibling if fulltime, is $25.00 per day for each child.

Thanks Michael. The other post was very helpful. I don't think I will be offering a sibling discount.

I started out offering sibling discounts in my advertisments but no longer do so. Now I just wait for the parent to ask. If they don't ask then they get no discount. Next time a parent asks I plan to tell them that I typically do not give discounts but I will offer you a discount if you can start by X date... or if you will be using my services full-time... or something along those lines. My sibling discount used to be 25% but now I am going to only do 10% which is what the centers in my area offer.

We use to do 5.00 after the oldest child and then 5.00 per additional child.
