    Observation Today....Hold Me

I had my observation today for our quality rating scale thing. It was unannounced- we knew they were coming but not the day or week. So I was mostly prepared, but I really didn't think they'd be so cruel as to pop up on a Monday .

What I wasn't prepared for is how my kids acted. They hit. They called names. They ignored directions, ran in the building, talked back and refused to share. I couldn't believe it. To top things off, the woman stayed almost 5 hours!

Its hard enough being observed, then to have them show off, it was so hard to be patient. Plus they know that that type of behavior would warrant a visit from "mean mommy" any other time, so they were really pushed it.

Just needed to vent. So glad it's over. I hope we scored well.

By observation do you mean the yearly checkthe licensors do? Mine came a few months ago. She asked a couple questions and was on her way. Sorry yours took so long! Hopefully you get a relaxing evening.

Mine are that way anytime the food lady comes or really anyone. They are even getting the point of doing that when parents come for pickup! I'm at a loss of what to do.

Sorry the kids were acting up. I hate it when that happens. Sometimes i see that as a sign that we need to go off the groove more often, to enforce that the behavior expectations are the same whether things are normal or not.
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!
