Have you thought about doing your own assessments? There are things like the Ages and Stages Questionnaire that you could do and provide a copy to the parents. You could also use it to know where to focus your program or activites. Then leave the offer for the parents to discuss any of it with you. You could even include the number of your local birth to 3/infants and toddlers program for the parents to call for an indepth eval to see if they qualify for services. Most of the birth to 3/infant toddler programs used to have to be referred to by a physician but not any more. Parent can self refer now.
I have 3 kids here that have a therapist come out once every 2 weeks. 2 of them have the same physical therapist so she comes out and includes all the kids in the therapy. It helps the ones receiving services to to have their peers there.
