Hello. Anyone willing to share your day dc schedules? Need to get a feel on how to fill the day/nap times etc. Planning on opening @6:30 am. Also any advice would be helpful. Thanx.

Here's my routine. It's not set in stone & some things change depending on the weather.

7:15-7:30 - kids arrive
7:30 - 8:00 breakfast & getting kids on the bus
8:00 - 8:20 free play while I clean up from breakfast
8:30 - Crafts/Playdoh/Coloring/Preschool work
9:20 - Diaper checks
9:30 Circle Time (singing songs/playing duck, duck goose/ring around the rosie)
9:50 - Prepare to go play or go for a walk
10:00 - At park to play or in backyard playing (sandbox/swings/playing catch, etc)
10:50 - Home/Inside
11:00 Prepare for lunch while kids have free playtime
11:20 - Diaper checks
11:30 -lunchtime
12:15 - Story reading before naptime
12:30 - diaper checks before nap
12:45 - Nap/Quiet time
3:00 - Snacktime
3:30 - Outdoor play until parents arrive (we play with chalk/play baseball with the older kids/sandbox/go on nature walks in the small woods behind our home/do treasure hunts

I don't have times listed on my schedule, because I like to be flexible, but i have this posted on the wall with pictures for each thing, so that the kids know what comes next.
Arrival/breakfast
free play
centers
snack
circle time
craft
homework
outdoors
lunch
quiet time
centers
free play/outside (until parents come)

We have clean up at each transition, and potty diaper time when needed

Im open Monday threw Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm here is what we do everday.

7:30am to 8:00am- arrival and breakfest
8:00 to 9:00- we have learning time this is where I read them a book, and we do a number or letter sheet, or an art project, we talk about the weather, the day, and date, and sing a song (I use the funshine express kit)
9:00 to 9:30- potty time,wash up, change diapers
9:30 to 11:00- free play in or outside
11:00 to 11:30- potty time, wash up, change diapers
11:30 to 12:00- lunch time
12:00- 2:00- naptime I usually clean up dishes, clean bathroom, get papers they did that morning to go home, etc.
2:00- 2:30- potty time, wash up, change diapers
2:30-3:00 snack time
3:00 to 5:00- free play in or outside
5:00-5:30- potty time, change diapers, wash up
5:30- kids go home
