Okay I'm closing my Daycare as I have been offerend a wonderful job back in healthcare (what I did for 10yrs prior to this). I love my kids and parents so please tell me if this letter to them sounds okay. THANKS!!
(dad, mom, and child):
On Monday April 30th, I was offered a great opportunity that I couldn’t refuse. It will allow me along with my family many more options for our future. It breaks my heart to inform you that the last day I will be providing daycare will be Friday, May 18th, 2012.
This decision was one of hardest decision I have had to make in a long time. I have fallen in love with ***XX and have gotten to know you both on a personal level as you have with me and my family. It has been pure delight to care for ***XX and I’m going to truly miss her big hugs and her tender kisses. The bond that I have with you and her has gone beyond a professional level and I really hope you will continue to include me in her life as she grows and learns.
I hope you understand and support me with this decision as it is the best for me and my family. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask and I’ll answer them to the best of my ability. Thank you again for letting me become a part of your lives.
